The Challenge
This customer realized that an increasing percentage of artists and users came from outside the United States. Their goal was to attract even more worldwide artists as well as fans to create a truly international music community. Thus, this company wanted to uniquely position itself in the marketplace among a growing list of online music sites with a global user base. "We had clearly identified numerous overseas markets that provide enormous opportunities for American artists to connect with international fans," affirmed their CEO. To build traffic and business around the world, iLanguage contributed to this customer's expansion in two major ways:

iLanguage Translators (i.e. French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Korean, Chinese and Japanese) began localizing the static web pages for international artists in order to attract audiences in these markets, sign up members online, and provide multilingual contact information.
But mere content translation was not enough to help the client meet its international goals. The project had to go through a second phase, with iLanguage Global eBizTM. iLanguage identified major markets around the world, such as leading in country search engines, portals, ISPs and web communities. iLanguage's multilingual and Internet-savvy staff listed the music website with all major search engines in the target markets. In addition, iLanguage provided valuable assistance in obtaining foreign domain name registration for them to ensure the protection of its brand internationally.
Finally, iLanguage launched a press release campaign, translating their English releases into 9 languages and disseminated them into the relevant countries. Numerous strategic partnerships, distribution and co-marketing alliances ensued, with leading music online communities in many countries.
